Objectives of APEAR

Objectives of APEAR:

  • To present the business case for Employee Assistance (EA) and mental health at work programs to Human Resource, Occupational Health and business leaders with a focus on how to maximize employee performance through EAP
  • To promote better understanding of the clinical practice and application of EA provision
  • To develop regional guidelines for EA as well as a Code of Ethics for EA practitioners and providers
  • To continue the professional exchange and dialogue regarding EA in the Asia Pacific and with other EA organizations
